Rushden Lakes Retail and Leisure Centre

Rushden Lakes Retail and Leisure complex is located in the Nene Valley, Northamptonshire offering 380,000 sq. ft. of retail space alongside 640 acres of natural habitat that shoppers, families and conservationists can enjoy. The first phase of the development comprised of three retail units, seven restaurant buildings, a timber boardwalk, and nature trails with viewing platforms. Willowbrook Construction played an important role in completing the substructures and drainage works on site. This included offsite foul pumping stations and rising mains, concrete and steel driven piles together with reinforced pile caps, in-situ ground beams, lift and escalator pits, and reinforced substructure works for the children’s wet play area located within the existing lake.
