🔧 Attenuation Tank Installation Progress – Kettering Project Update
We’re pleased to report steady progress on site with the installation of the Viacon twin-store attenuation system at our Kettering project.
This innovative attenuation system is designed to maximise storage capacity by efficiently combining the volume within the pipes and the voids in the single-size stone backfill. To ensure environmental protection and structural integrity, a clay liner is carefully wrapped around the tank, creating a fully sealed unit before backfilling.
The new stormwater drainage infrastructure now connects directly into the attenuation tank, playing a crucial role in reducing flood risk and easing pressure on local watercourses. This installation not only meets stringent regulatory requirements but also supports sustainable water management in the area.
